This facility is based on one 100-liter core machine producing spin-cast pipe socket cores with nominal diameter ranging from 80 to 1,200 mm in 4-, 3-, 2- and single-cavity core boxes.

The nominal production rate of the facility is up to 50 cycles/h, corresponding to a gross production of up to 200 cores/h on the smaller diameters.

The cores are automatically delivered outside the machine’s enclosure for robot pick-off and processing through the de-finning and coating operations.

The special coating tank design insures that the cores be coated only on their outer surface.

Robot gripper design insures maximum flexibility of operation. Only minor gripper set-up is required to handle the different diameters produced in the facility.
