Based on a single 150-liter core machine, this compact core making facility produces the complete core requirement for 3- and 4-cylinder motor blocks at the nominal rate of 52 cycles/h.
The production process is fully automatic, including core de-finning, and robot pick-off, assembly, and coating.
The cores are automatically de-finned upon their ejection from the core box cavities and presented to the pick-off robot which stacks them on an assembly turntable where a tie-bar is driven through the package and a locking nut is automatically fed and driven in position.
A service turntable is available for the manual assembly of ancillary cores.
The assembled package is removed by the coating robot, processed through the coating and dripping operation, and deposited on the conveyor of a tunnel drying oven.KIRLOSKAR FERROUS, India
