MAUS and FRITZ HANSBERG: THANKS TO THE CREDITORS’ POSIVITE VOTE, THE GROUP CONTINUES THE RELAUNCH PHASE.

After the admission of both plans for Maus and Fritz Hansberg, the agreement has got the approval by the creditors and the Group continues to execute the Business Plan for the new relaunch phase. The first important agreements with China and the presentation of a new machine in the USA are underway.

Padua, Modena – April 2019. Maus Group announces that, following the admission of both plans for Maus and Fritz Hansberg, the two companies have also recently obtained the positive vote of the creditors. It is an important step that allows the Group to continue the  execution of the new industrial plan aimed at relaunching the activities, with a growing positive target in the area.

The business plan aims – in conjunction with the rationalization and review of the business processes – to enhance the important and specific know-how of the company in the sector of machine tools for foundries. An asset that makes the Group a reference for various international players and on which the Management will continue to work for the strategic oversight of foreign markets, with a particular focus on the USA (where the branch is now named Maus North America), China, India, Turkey and Croatia.
Besides the increase in production for Maus, the company Fritz Hansberg is focusing on traditional lines and machine re-engineering – an area in which the company boasts excellent skills that can be maintained and powered thanks to the cost reduction also generated by the execution in outsourcing of the assembly activities.

The combination of these strategies developed for both companies leads to a turnover target of over 30 million euros with an Ebitda of over 12%. A goal considered achievable on the basis of the encouraging results recorded in the first 3 months of 2019, and on the customers’ trust that continue to recognize the value of the Group’s competences.

As concern the foreign markets, it is important to remark the results in China. Further to the business discussions started in 2018, last March the Group took part in the exhibition Metal China in Shanghai where it was signed the agreement for the sale of a Maus machine to the Chinese railway Group CRRC. This contact is part of a broader cooperation agreement. The customer is willing to buy other machines which can be partially assembled in China with Maus support. At the same time Maus is preparing to attend the exhibition Cast Expo in Atlanta, from 27 to 30 April, where it will be displayed  the new Readygrind machine. The machine is a result of a constant research and development and it meets the needs of many sectors in addition to that one of automotive foundries, thanks to its modular structure and the compact dimensions that allow to put one or more machines on a line with other machining processes. The Readygrind, designed to offer a greater flexibility, will also be the Group’s flagship product at the exhibition GIFA in Dusseldorf at the end of June.
